Wasilla

The town of Wasilla is part of the Matanuska Susitna Borough and is directly off the Glenn Highway via the Parks Highway. With a population of more than 5,400, it is now one of the fastest-growing areas in Alaska. Wasilla is the official race headquarters of Alaska's Iditarod Sled Dog Race and offers many amenities of a bigger city plus plenty of outdoor adventures.
